  • Calls for intergovernmental cooperation programmes between China and different countries

    The first call of 2022 National Key R&D Program for intergovernmental innovation cooperation has been released by the Ministry of Science & Technology (MOST) of China on 5th Nov., 2021, supporting bilateral science & technology collaboration between China and other countries including Spain, France, Austria, Finland, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Egypt, Malaysia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, United States, Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa (https://service.most.gov.cn/kjjh_tztg_all/20211105/4693.html). The total budget allocation is about 620 million RMB for the Chinese participating partners. The corresponding national calls maybe available as well on the website of the funding organization in each country.

    The program tasks involve science, technology and engineering issues of common concern at the level of intergovernmental scientific and technological cooperation. Adhering to the concept of mutual benefit and win-win results, the Chinese government has carried out scientific and technological innovation cooperation with relevant countries, regions, international organizations and multilateral mechanisms to jointly solve global problems and promote economic and social development by supporting intergovernmental scientific and technological cooperation projects, jointly funding joint research and development, promoting exchanges and cooperation demonstration of scientific and technological personnel, and encouraging the opening and sharing of large-scale scientific and technological infrastructure, which makes due contributions to building a community with a shared future for all.
