    0.42kg wet waste +0.60kg dry waste per capita per day -- some information from the analysis of MSW data in Shanghai in 2021

     

    In June, 2022, Shanghai issued the announcement on the prevention and control of environmental pollution of solid waste in Shanghai in 2021, and published the data of solid waste production in Shanghai in 2021.

    1.        The wet waste in Shanghai accounts for about 41.13% of the total dry and wet waste.

    2.        People produce 1.32kg MSW and 0.42kg kitchen waste per capita per day in Shanghai.

    3.        Incineration in Shanghai accounts for half of the total waste.

    4.        The oil content is about 3%, and the oil content of waste oil is 70%.

    5.        Laogang solid waste comprehensive development Co., Ltd. produces 499000 tons of solid waste and 66000 tons of hazardous waste. The solid waste here should mainly be incineration solid slag, while the hazardous waste should mainly be fly ash.
