    Abstract

Waste incineration technology has been applied rapidly in China. In 2018, the total amount of China's waste incineration volume reached 102 million tons, accounting for 45% of the total harmless amount. It will soon form a waste terminal disposal pattern of "incineration as the main, landfill as the bottom", and will continue to develop from "energy recovery" to "resource recovery". Waste incineration projects have not only increased in scale, but also changed profoundly in incineration technology, flue gas purification system and market competition situation. China's waste incineration industry still has many technical pain points and development bottlenecks, and the sustainable development is facing new challenges and opportunities. In the future, it is suggested that waste incineration enterprises and industries should explore the promotion and profit model of waste incineration in small and medium-sized cities (with a population of less than 500,000), respond to the demand of mineralized waste mining and incineration disposal, and make up for the shortcomings of harmless disposal and resource utilization of waste incineration fly ash. Improve the technical level and management ability in the aspects of "improving power generation efficiency, reducing plant power consumption rate", and strengthen the "neighboring benefit" concept guidance. Additionally, positively layout international market, attach importance to the interaction with universities and research institutes is also important, to promote technological innovation and technology transfer.
