  • National Development and Reform Commission and other four departments fully implement the MSW charging system

    The National Development and Reform Commission and other four departments recently issued the guidance on “accelerating the construction of urban environmental infrastructure”, proposing to improve sewage collection and treatment and resource utilization facilities, improve sewage, MSW, hazardous wastes, medical wastes disposal price formation and fee mechanism.

    According to the guideline, by 2025, the supply capacity and level of urban environmental infrastructure will be significantly improved, weaknesses in key areas and areas will be accelerated, and an environmental infrastructure system will be built that integrates sewage, MSW, solid wastes, hazardous wastes and medical wastes treatment facilities, as well as monitoring and supervision capacity. By 2030, a comprehensive, efficient, practical, intelligent, green, safe and reliable modern environmental infrastructure system will be basically in place.
