The State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council will guide and promote central enterprises to increase the layout of strategic emerging industries such as hydrogen energy, accelerate the construction of the hydrogen energy industry technology innovation system, strengthen the construction of hydrogen energy infrastructure, increase application demonstration in key areas, cultivate a diversified hydrogen energy application ecosystem, and support the construction of a complete hydrogen energy supply chain and industrial system through innovation driven, basic support, demonstration leading, and demand driven approaches, To help achieve the carbon neutrality goal of carbon peaking.

At the same meeting, Sinopec led the establishment of the Expert Advisory Committee on the Construction of the Hydrogen Energy Industry Chain (referred to as the "Hydrogen Energy Special Advisory Committee"), which is divided into expert committee members and committee members. It consists of four sub committees and secretaries: hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and transportation, hydrogen industrial application, and hydrogen transportation application. The secretariat is located in the Institute of Petroleum and Chemical Sciences, and 108 members are selected for this session.

Ma Yongsheng pointed out that building a modern industrial chain for hydrogen energy applications and constructing a new pattern of industrial development with chain surface and woven chain network is a new and complex system engineering, full of opportunities and challenges, without mature experience to follow. It requires industry chain partners to work more closely together, continuously explore, actively innovate, and boldly practice. The Special Advisory Committee on Hydrogen Energy should conduct in-depth research on creating original technology sources, building core links, improving industrial chain coordination mechanisms, grasping cutting-edge development trends, and preventing major risks in the industrial chain. It should provide more insights, play a key role in high-end think tanks and decision-making support, and continuously promote the construction of the hydrogen energy industrial chain to achieve fruitful results.
